Abstract This Notification lays down rules for the development and sustainability of plant production, the prevention of transmission of harmful organisms, the eradication of the existing ones to prevent the spread, and the support for the producers who take quarantine measures in contamination areas. In order to be entitled to the support payment, plant cultivator should have registered the cultivation area to the Farmer Registration System. Support payments shall be valued according to producers' losses due to Plum pox virus and Anoplophora chinensis. In this regard, this Notification sets forth provisions on the damage valuation, and the powers and inspection of the competent authorities.
