Entry into force notes
This Notification enters into force one month after its publication in the Official Journal.
Abstract

This Notification makes minor changes in several different articles of the Turkish Food Codex Notification No. 2012/74 on meat and meat products. The amended Article 4 sets forth the definitions; the amended articles 5, 6 and 7 provides for the product features; and the amended articles 12, 13 and 15 sets forth provisions regarding veterinary drug residues , hygiene and labeling. The Notification further adds a new Provisional Clause regarding mandatory compliance for the retail businesses operating before the entry into force of this Notification.
