Section 150(1) of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 provides that there is to be an inshore fisheries and conservation authority for every inshore fisheries and conservation district established under section 149 of that Act. The Order mainly makes provision regarding membership and proceedings of the Authority. The Authority may delegate its functions. The District comprises marine areas up to a distance of six nautical miles from the specified baselines.
