Abstract

This Notice of the Minister is made under section 9(1) of the Biodiversity Act and prescribes norms and standards for the achievement of any of the objectives of this Act, including for the management and conservation of South Africa's biological diversity and its components and the restriction of activities which impact on biodiversity and its components. The Plans shall meet the criteria and requirements set out in this Notice. Plans may be developed for one or more species and for one or more populations or a meta-population.
