Abstract This Act, consisting of 4 Chapters and 1 Schedule, may be called "Nepal Law Commission Act, 2063 (2007). The Nepal Law Commission has hereby been established for the drafting and codification of laws, amendment, unification and review of prevailing laws as well as to conduct study and research on law and justice. The Commission shall be competent for any administrative and legal issue, and in particular: to make and cause to be made study and research on enactment of new laws or amendment of existing laws or the contemporary issues relating to law and justice; to prepare necessary draft for codification of laws, and submit the same to the Government of Nepal; to unify or review the prevailing laws, and to provide necessary suggestion in this regard to the Government of Nepal, to submit a draft along with explanatory notes, in regard to enactment of new laws and amendment of prevailing laws as per necessity, etc. Full text English Website www.lawcommission.gov.np
