They specify activities that shall be considered offences within National Parks, including activities related to the introduction of outside animals into parks, littering, pollution of waters, abandoned property, disorderly behaviour, refusal to comply with the orders of an authorized officer, camping in prohibited areas, use of vehicles in contravention of restrictions, fires, cultivation, commercial activities, and others. The Regulations stipulate penalties for offenses. authorized officers are given wide powers to arrest and seize vehicles or other items without warrants in enforcement of the Regulations. The Regulations also deal with a few matters of planning and administration. They require the preparation of management plans for each national park. Provisions are also set forth for the appointment of park managers and rangers, and of a National Parks Council to advise the Authority on national parks matters.
