Abstract

These Regulations, made under sections 32 (c), 33 (n), 113, 122, 123, 124 (2) of the Petroleum Industry Act, No. 6, of 2021, apply to gas transportation pipelines and gas transportation networks in the petroleum industry, and provide for establishing a sustainable gas transportation pipeline tariff regime, and a tariff methodology for the transportation and transmission of natural gas through gas transportation networks. The Regulations concern: transportation tariff for capacity charge, commodity charge and any other charge; tariff methodology and levies and taxes included; tariff calculation; offences and penalties; power to issue directives.
