The present Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2009.This Regulation expires on 1 January 2024.
Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Mines and Minerals Act (RSA 2000, c. M-17). The Regulation lays down provisions relating to royalties for drilling of natural gas. The text – consisting of 12 sectons – deals with the following aspects: definitions, application of Regulation, eligible well, nature and transfer of royalty adjustment, factors affecting adjustment or determination, reporting circumstances affecting eligibility, transition wells, expiry and coming into force.
