Abstract This document sets out the national programme on fisheries and aquaculture, applicable to the period 2017-2019. The Programme promotes the sustainable exploitation of marine resources as well as sustainable aquaculture. The instrument has been adopted pursuant to the European Union Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), which covers the conservation of marine biological resources and the management of fisheries and fleets exploiting such resources.
