Abstract

The present regulations provide for the enforcement of the Canada National Parks Act. In particular, they lay down provisions relating to wildlife in the national parks of Canada other than Wood Buffalo National Park. The regulations contain at the outset a definition clause containing various terms therein employed, such as “exotic wildlife”, “firearm”, “hunt”, “hunting permit”, “park”, “possession”, “wildlife”. The text contains 22 sections dealing with the protection of plant and animal species.
