In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the prevention of fires in national parks. The Regulations apply to parks and park reserves as if they were parks. Section 3 establishes that if the superintendent considers it necessary to close any area or highway in the park to public use or travel, he may do so by posting a prominently displayed explanatory notice in the area.
