Section 1 gives definitions. A Protected Nature Value is defined as one listed in the National parks, Natural Reserves (Protected Nature Values), 1979. Section 2 prohibits the holding of a protected nature value except for those listed in the Annex and prohibits the exporting of protected nature values from Israel unless authorized from the Director of the Nature Reserves Authority. Section 3 prohibits the causing of any damage to a protected nature value unless authorized by the director of the Nature Reserves Authority for research purposes.
