Any person who normally resides or intends to reside in an area covered by a bird sanctuary may apply to the Director for a resident permit. A person, other than a prescribed category of persons shall not enter a bird sanctuary or remain or reside therein without an appropriate permit issued under these Regulations. A person shall not fish in a bird sanctuary, unless he is in possession of a valid angling permit issued under regulation 7. Regulations 8 prescribes restrictions on activities within bird sanctuaries including hunting or disturbing any wild animal, fish, bird, or any bird nest.
