Abstract

This Act grants power to the Minister to declare, for the purposes specified in section 2 and on the recommendation of the National Parks Board, any area as a national park or nature reserve. The National Parks Board is established under section 3. It shall be the duty of the Board to consider what areas in Vanuatu fall within criteria set out in section 2 and determine under what category of parks and reserves and in what order they should be declared, and to make recommendation to the Minister
