This Park serves above all to guarantee the conservation and regeneration of water resources, protect wild fauna and flora; conserve forests and promote the transformation of forests into protected forests. Furthermore, the national park serves also to allow scientific observation of nature, the recreation and the development of an environment-friendly tourism. The National Park shall contribute to a positive regional development.
