Abstract

This Policy sets out the management arrangements of the National Fisheries Authority to monitor and control the use of anchored and fish aggregating devices or payaos in the purse-seine fishery for tunas in Papua New Guinea Declared Fishing Zone, in accordance with the FAO Code of Conduct for Responsible Fishing and the management objectives of the Fisheries Management Act 1998.
