Abstract Section 33(2) setting out the purposes of the powers of the authorised officer during the period of the State of Disaster and Sections 81 and 82 determining offences and penalties are amended. Moreover, this Act adds new paragraphs (i) and (j) to Section 86 regarding the necessity to limit any right or freedom of a person for a limited period of the existence of a disaster or the continuation of any declaration of a State of Disaster, and for the purposes of disaster management, response or recovery.
