In particular, section 1 prescribes that the Mobile Core Bathurst Caribou Conservation Area is established as a wildlife management area for barren-ground caribou. Hence, no person shall harvest barren-ground caribou in the Mobile Core Bathurst Caribou Conservation Area. For greater certainty, these regulations prevail over the Big Game Hunting Regulations in respect of the authorization to harvest barren-ground caribou in those wildlife management areas that overlap with the Mobile Core Bathurst Caribou Conservation Area.
