The principal provisions of the Regulations add various to permitted or controlled additives, provide for additional uses of certain conditionally permitted additives in various foods, remove the restrictions on the use of permitted additives, increase the restrictions on the use of such additives, and provide for additional uses of certain permitted additives and use of a new additive in infant food.
