Abstract

This Ministerial Order, consisting of 4 Chapters and 10 Annexes, regulates sanction for illegal fishing activities within the water under Mozambican jurisdiction. It establishes values of sanctions to be paid for illegal artisanal, semi-industrial and industrial fishings under the control of the Ministry of Fishery. Annexes lay down models to be used for controls and sanctions. It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Procedures intermediation (Chap. II); Competent authority for the emission of sanctions and fines (Chap. III); Competent authority for the emission of sanctions and fees for artisanal fishing (Chap. IV).
