The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree lays down provisions for the transposition into the national legislation and implementation of Commission Directive 99/39/EC establishing regulations on the maximum levels of pesticide residues in processed cereal based foods and baby foods. Under this light, Decree No. Y3E/4243/97 is hereby amended so as to comply with the above-mentioned Directive. Trade in products which do not comply with the provisions of this Decree, shall be prohibited, with effect from 30 June 2002.
