Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

Aim of the present Decree is the transposition into the national legislation and application of Commission Directive 98/36/EC which amends Directive 96/5/EC on processed cereal-based foods and baby foods for infants and young children. Consequently, the Annexes to Decree No. Y3E/4243/97 shall be amended as shown in the Annex to this Decree, according to the provisions of Directive 98/36/EC. Trade in products which are subject to this Decree and conforming to its provisions shall be permitted as from 1 January 1999. As from 1 January 2000 trade in products which do not comply with this Decree, shall be prohibited.
