Abstract The Decree approves the Supreme Chemistry Council’s Decision by which article 67 of the Food Code, which deals with honey and honey products, is amended in compliance with Council Directive 2001/110/EC. The provisions of article 67 shall apply to different types of honey defined under Annex I. Technical standards for these products are set forth under Annex II. Placing on the market of products not complying with the provisions of this Decree, shall be prohibited as from 1 August 2004. However, sales of products not complying with the provisions of this Decree but have been labelled before August 2004 and according to the provisions of Presidential Order No. 498/83 may continue until the supply lasts.
