The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The present Decree, by inserting the new article 59 to the Food Code, sets forth the parameters for the production and placing on the market of chocolate and cocoa products. The new article follows the structure of Commission Directive 2000/36/EC which makes provisions in matter of these products. In Annex I to this article, are listed down sales names, definitions and characteristics of products such as cocoa butter, cocoa powder, drinking chocolate, milk chocolate, etc.
