Abstract This Decree, in compliance with Council Directive 2002/55/EC on the marketing of vegetable seed lays down the terms of acceptance, certification and control of vegetable seed varieties. The provisions of the Regulation shall apply to the production with a view to marketing, and to the marketing, of vegetable seed. A variety is accepted only if it is distinct, stable and sufficiently uniform.
