Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force as from 18 January 2003.
Abstract

Aim of this Decree is the transposition into the national legislation and implementation of the provisions of Directive 2001/41/EC relating to restrictions on the marketing and use of certain dangerous substances and preparations, more specifically, substances classified as carcinogens, mutagens or toxic. The afore-mentioned Directive provides for amending Council Directive 76/769/EEC, which has been implemented and incorporated into the Greek legislative frame with Presidential Order No. 445/83. Under this light, the Appendix to Annex I of Presidential Order No. 445 shall be amended as set out in article 2 hereto. Also, The substances listed in the Annex to the present Decree, concerning points 29 and 31, shall be added to those substances listed in Annex I.
