Ministerial Joint Decree No. 122108 as regards the maximum residue levels of trifloxystrobin, thiabendazole, abamectin, benomyl, carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl, myclobutanyl, glyphosate, trimethylsulfonium, fenpropimorph and chlormequatin in and on certain products of plant origin, in compliance with Commission Directive 2006/60/CE.

Entry into force notes
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force as from: a) 1 August 2006 for chlormequat; b) 15 September 2006 for benomyl-carbendazim group of substances and c) 21 January 2007 for all the other substances mentioned in the Decree.
Abstract

In order to ensure that the consumer is adequately protected from exposure to residues in foodstuffs resulting from plant protection products and in compliance with Commission Directive 2006/60/CE, this Decree provides for the following amendments of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95: a) in Annex I, in group ‘3 Pulses’, the entry ‘Lupines’ is added in such a way that the terms ‘Whole product’ in the last column cover all four entries; b) in Annex II, the footnote (t) at the entry for chlormequat on pears is replaced by the following: ‘A temporary MRL of 0,2 mg/kg shall apply until 31 July 2009’; c) the maximum pesticide residue levels prescribed in the Table to article 1 to the present Decree shall replace those shown in Annex II.
