Checks shall be carried out by independent authorized organisms. Article 1 of this Decree fixes the duration of the authorization to be issued by the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies to such independent control organisms. The latter must inform the Ministry, within two days, in case any type of violation or contravention of labelling provisions is verified. Furthermore, the control organisms must submit annually to the Ministry a report regarding the checks that have been performed and containing at least the four elements specified by article 2, paragraph 2.
