Abstract This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of state supervision over the management and use of water bodies. Such supervision shall be carried out by the Federal Nature Management Supervision Service and regional executive bodies for the following purposes: (a) compliance with water use and protection requirements; (b) land management in water conservation zones; and (c) enforcement of water legislation.
