The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree lays down technical details for the implementation of commercial specifications (marketing standards) regarding the minimum requirements for maturation of kiwifruits. To establish the beginning of kiwifruits harvest, the competent authorities shall proceed in assessing the degree of maturity of the fruits by performing field spot–checks and issue a relevant Decision. Controls shall occur also during the packaging process of the fruits. The Decree establishes standards for kiwifruits in Brix (maturity index for kiwifruit).
