The State Forest Service shall have as its duties: (a) to ensure the enforcement of forest legislation; (b) to ensure the state supervision over the state, management, protection, conservation and reproduction of forests. The State Forest Service shall have the competence as regards to: (a) prevent and suppress crimes and administrative offences; (b) to ensure order on the territory of forest estate. The state forest officers shall be authorized: (a) to check authorization for the management of forest estate; (b) to draw up reports on administrative offences regarding forest estate; (c) to confiscate forest resources, logging equipment and means of transport.
