Abstract This Ministerial Decision amends Regulations on the management of solid non hazardous waste by replacing the text of article 7 with the following: “The Ministry issues licences for establishing sanitary or treatment locations for burying waste and licences for dumping solid non-hazardous waste in Omani waters. In return for the issuance of these licences a fee of 200 Baisa per ton is payable where the total load is less than 50 000 tons. Where the load exceeds 50 000 tons, a fee of 100 Baisa is payable”.
