The Department shall issue weather and climate forecasts, and advance warnings on weather conditions likely to endanger life and property¸ maintain a climatologic database, provide consultancy and specialist services for special sectors such as agriculture and carry out other tasks and provide services as specified in section 4.and the Second Schedule The Director of the Department shall establish and administer the Meteorological Services Fund.
