Abstract

These Regulations prescribe, in the Schedules, fees payable for the services provided or things done by the Kenya Maritime Authority as respectively specified upon request by any person under or for the purposes of the Act. The fees include: fees for inspection of explosives and grain cargo; fees for the survey of a vessel for an IOPP (International Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate)/KOPP (Kenya Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate) issued for purposes of International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) and fees for the assessment and approval of manuals including a Shipboard Marine Pollution Emergency plan for Noxious Liquid substances.
