Abstract

This Act concerns the operation and functions of the Melbourne Water Corporation constituted under the Melbourne Water Corporation Act 1992, onto which all functions of previously existent bodies involved in water resources management were transferred. The Act is divided into the following Parts: Water Supply; Sewerage; Provision of services by agreement; Metropolitan general fund; Borrowing powers; Other works; Contributions by Board; Miscellaneous; Metropolitan drainage and waterways; and Waste.
