F-14). In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to pollution caused by deleterious substances in liquid effluents from meat and poultry products plants. Section 4 defines the term “deleterious substance” and section 5 fixes the authorized threshold value of such substances. The text – consisting of 13 sections – deals with the following aspects: method of collecting composite samples, frequency of sampling and analysis, analytical and other test methods, flow measurement, calculation of actual deposit, reporting and records, permitted variation in additional conditions.
