Abstract These Regulations is formulated to strengthen the management of Tianjin ancient coast and wetland national nature reserve. The Municipal competent ocean administrative department shall be responsible for the overall supervision and management of protected areas. Tianjin Ancient Coast and Wetlands National Nature Reserve Management Office shall be established for implementation of specific management of protected areas. The nature reserve is divided into core zone, buffer zone and experimental zone. The Measures prohibit any unauthorized access to the core zone. For entering the core zone due to the need of scientific research, activities shall be planned in advance and applications shall be submitted to the protected area management office for approval. The Measures establish powers and duties of the authorities in charge of the management of the nature reserve. Final provisions concern offences and penalties.
