Abstract

These Regulations, for the purposes of section 28 of the Mauritius Cane Industry Authority Act 2011, provides forms for a cane contract (as required by section 27 of the Act) between: (a) a planter and a miller (in the First Schedule to these Regulations); (b) a planter and a middleman (in the Second Schedule); (c) a middleman and a miller (in the Third Schedule); and (d) a cooperative credit society (including a registered planters’ association) and a miller (in the Fourth Schedule).
