Section 15 provides that animals which are matimela continue to be considered as such until they are recovered by their owner. The Act provides for the establishment of matimela facilities and the appointment of matimela officers. The Act also makes provisions for the reporting, collection, branding, notification of presence, claiming, sale, care, etc. of matimela.
