Abstract

A Regulation to provide for the granting of permission to establish a body corporate for the purpose of section 7(5) of the Maritime Zones Act, 1977. Body corporates shall be "substantially" owned and controlled by citizens of Mauritius (art. 3). Applications shall be made in the form set out in the Second Schedule. A licence granted under section 7(2) of the Act may contain such terms and conditions as the Prime Minister may determine (art. 4). (2 Schedules: Application for the Approval of a Body Corporate (1); Application for a Licence (2)).
