Abstract

These Regulations, made under sections 6 and 92 of the Marine Resources Act 2005, regulate purse seine fishing and related activities in the fishery waters of the Cook Islands. All purse seine fishing shall be done in accordance with the Act, with Regulations and with the purse seine fishing vessel licence issued by the Minister, the Secretary of Marine Resources or an administrator of a multilateral treaty to which the Cook Islands is a party.
