Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister of Transport Affairs under section 3 (1)(b) of the Marine Pollution (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Act, provide for fees payable by an owner of a vessel or his/her agent for services performed by a surveyor or other officer under the Act or for purposes of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships. The Regulations also specify a detention fee.
