It consists of 15 sections and is divided into five Parts. It defines the management areas of the park (sect. 9): Trinity Inlet, Marlin Coast and Wonga Beach. Part 4 identifies two management zones, the general use zone and the estuarine conservation zone, and sets the basic management principles. The plan is completed by eight schedules: management area boundaries, zone boundaries, maps, declared species, protected animals, restricted organisms, permitted non-conforming uses and dictionary.
