Part 1A is dedicated to the declaration of marine parks and to the specification of their constituents: the subsoil beneath tidal land in the area to a depth of 1 000 m below the surface of the area and the airspace above the area to a height of 915 m above the surface of the area (section 5C). Part 2 concerns zoning plans and their contents. Part 3 covers matters related to permission to enter and use marine parks, while Part 4 concerns management plans and programs of works to be carried out in marine parks. Part 6 sets a general prohibition on taking marine products in marine parks and Part 7 regulates inspections to be carried out in marine parks. Part 8 contains miscellaneous provisions, among others, on offences and penalties. The regulation is completed by four schedules on fees and on areas declared marine parks.
