This Regulation enters into force on 5 November 2004.
Abstract

This plan, consisting of 13 Parts and completed by 11 Schedules, provides for the management of the Great Barrier Reef Coast and applies to the GBR Coast Marine Park. It designates management zones and provides for entry and use of the resources in each. It sets aside areas as for special management. The plan is completed by eleven schedules: zones, internal general use zone areas, internal habitat protection zone areas, estuarine conservation zone areas, internal conservation park zone areas, internal marine national parks zone areas, conservation park line fishing areas, designated areas, closed period for seasonal closure areas, non conforming use and dictionary.
