Regulations 3-9 specify prohibited or restricted activities in these areas: No person shall fish, collect any fish or any other marine organism in a marine reserve (regs. 3 and 5). Entrance or taking up residence in a marine reserve requires the prior consent of the Unit Manager. No person shall, within a Marine Reserve, use or have in his possession any type of fishing equipment save with the permission in writing of an officer in charge of that Marine Reserve. The remaining Regulations prohibit activities in marine reserves such as dredging, excavating, drilling (7), anchoring or mooring of vessels (8).
