This Notice enters into force 28 days after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
Abstract

This Notice provides for the creation of the West Coast North Island marine mammal sanctuary along part of the west coast of the North Island, and restricts seismic surveys in the sanctuary. The sanctuary includes areas where Hector's dolphins are found.
