Abstract

This Notice of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, made under section 8 of the Marine Living Resources Act, recognizes listed organizations as interest groups in terms of section 8. Sections 8 allows the Minister to recognize industrial bodies and interest groups as interest groups as being organizations representative of the fishing industry. The list includes various fisheries associations.
