This Act enters into force on 13 December 2006.
Abstract

New sections 147A and 147B, and a new heading “Adjustments to number of quota shares available for distribution” have been inserted after section 147. After section 148 a new subsection and heading “Alteration of quota management areas under Fisheries Act 1996” have been inserted. Schedules 1 and 6 have been amended and minor amendments have been made to section 40(3) (d).
