It sets forth the parameters and standards to be used for carrying out bathing water quality assessments. Competent authority for the application of the law shall be the Environmental Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment. The monitoring and follow-up of quality of waters shall be upon the Sanitary Services of the Department of Medical and Public Health Services and the General Chemical Laboratory of the Ministry of Health.
